Westpac Business Awards

Visionwest were successful in the 2021 Westpac Business Awards winning two awards and qualifying for the Best of the Best Awards where we took out the Excellence in Strategy and Planning Award.

The annual Westpac Business Awards recognise excellence in business strategy, marketing, and performance. In 2021, Visionwest entered the North-West Awards in three categories, Excellence in Community Contribution, Excellence in Strategy and Planning, and Excellence in Customer Service Delivery, and were finalists in the first two of these.

After a number of postponements due to Covid, the North-West Awards ceremony was held on 7 April 2022 with Visionwest winning the Excellence in Strategy and Planning Award before going on to win the Supreme Business Excellence Award – the first time a not-for-profit has won this award.

Over 1,200 businesses entered the North-West awards. In congratulating Visionwest for winning the Supreme Award, Auckland Business Chamber Chief Executive Michael Barnett said, “They have shown resilience, and innovation through both stable and unprecedented times and are deserving winners. It is important they are recognised.”

Winning the North-West Awards qualified Visionwest for the Best of the Best Awards held on 17 June 2022, where we won the Strategy and Planning Award for the whole of Auckland.

To win these prestigious awards recognises excellence in all aspects of business from the backroom planning and administration through to frontline service delivery and is a wonderful tribute to every person on the Visionwest team throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
